A Talk with Paolo Carozza: U.S. State Department's Commission on Unalienable Rights

-

Location: 1130 Eck Hall of Law

Please join Professor Paolo Carozza for an informal lunch talk about his work as a member of the U.S. State Department's Commission on Unalienable Rights.

Earlier this year, U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo named Professor Carozza to the newly formed Commission on Unalienable Rights, along with ten other academics, philosophers, and activists. The Commission "will provide the Secretary with advice on human rights grounded in our nation’s founding principles and the principles of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights."
