Notre Dame Law School’s Program on Church, State & Society hosted a lecture, Religious Freedom at Home and Abroad: Finding a Better Way, on April 14, 2016.

John Witte, Jr., Robert W. Woodruff Professor of Law, McDonald Distinguished Professor, and director of the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University, spoke to students and faculty on April 14, 2016 about religious freedom at home and abroad. His lecture, Religious Freedom at Home and Abroad: Finding a Better Way, can be heard here.

A specialist in legal history, marriage law, and religious liberty, Witte has received major funding from Pew Charitable Trust, Ford Foundation, Lilly Endowment, Inc., Henry Luce Foundation, and McDonald Agape Foundation to direct 12 major international projects on democracy, human rights, and religious liberty, and on marriage, family, and children.
